It's my Birthday today and it has been so hard with out you. You always made such a fuss and made me feel special on my Birthday. I will never forget my first Birthday celebrated with you. We had been going out for just over 3 months and during the build up to my Birthday you hinted that you had got me something, but typical you, you tried to play it cool!! I joked it off hinted that you had been shopping at the £1 shop. We went out to celebrate my Birthday and I stayed over at yours and you told me you loved me for the first time. I woke in the morning, popped to the loo and came back to the bedroom to find a little pile of presents on the bed with some naff silk flowers on the top!! I didn't want to hurt your feelings but inside I was thinking oh my god I have got to be grateful for this. I started opening the presents and tried so hard to keep a smile on my face while I opened each piece of tat you had got me, leg warmers, arm bands, a clothes sticky roller thingy and of course a garden knome who we named Jim. It wasn't until I had opened the last present that you then revealed that every single present was of course from the £1 shop, I fell in love with you then, such a fun sense of humour, such a big heart. You then gave me my real presents. I can't for the life of me remember every present you got me that year, but I will never forget that Birthday. Jim still sits in our garden.
